Garages removed from MOT scheme to be made public in April.

Each year across the UK 35 million MOT’s are carried out at over 21,000 authorised premises,  from April garages that have been removed from the MOT scheme following formal disciplinary action will be made public.

The DVSA (Driver and Vehicles Standards Agency) along with Goverment Ministers have agreed to make information publically available as part of ongoing improvements to the regulations around the garage sector.

From April you (the motorists) will be able to sign up for email alerts which will be sent monthly so you know which local garages have been removed.
